How To Create an Automated Adobe CS3 Web Photo Gallery

1. To create a quick & easy web photo gallery for your web page, create an empty folder on your desktop.

2. Name it "Web Photo Gallery".

3. Next, make sure you have a folder containing all of your images ready on your desktop.

4. Now in Photoshop CS3, go to File > Automate > Web Photo Gallery.

5. At the pop-up, choose a style for your gallery. (For the demo like you see below, I chose "Horizontal Slideshow".)

6. Under "Source Images" choose the folder that contains your images from your desktop.

7. Next, click on "Destination" and select the empty "Web Photo Gallery" folder you created in step 1.

8. Click OK and you should see thumbnails automatically created for you!

9. A page will pop up. Make sure to copy the url and link it to your web page.

10.*IMPORTANT* You must copy the folders you created to your DW site in order for remote users to see your new gallery.

11. To edit image information (e.g., Title, Copyright, etc.), open up each html page within "Web Photo Gallery" > "pages".

12. See below for a demo or click on the the Web Photo Gallery link at the top of this page to see a full gallery demo.
