1. To create a Soundslides slide show, you will need to use the dual-monitor computer in Arjona 438.
2. Before you begin, make sure that all images are .jpg/RGB format and that audio is .mp3 format (sample rate of 44.1 khz or 22.05 khz, encoded at 32, 48, 56, 64, 128, 160 or 256 kpps).
3. Launch the program (go to Applications > Soundslides), and select "New Project".
4. You will now see two buttons: JPG and SND. Click on JPG and choose the folder that contains your images.
5. It doesn't matter if your .jpg images are different sizes; Soundslides will automatically resize them to fit.
6. Once the images are loaded into Soundslides, you will see a green check in the JPG box.
7. Now click the SND box and select the .mp3 audio track from your desktop or other folder.
8. Soundslides requires audio but will only accept one audio track. Also, note that the length of your slideshow will be determined by the length of your audio track (source).
9. For example, in the demo slide show (see above), I had 7 images and a 1:30 minute audio track. The application evenly distributes your images for the length of the track.
10. Soundslides lets you rearrange your images in any order, zoom in on an image, and adjust how long a picture remains on the screen.
11. To learn how to publish your Soundslides slide show to your Dreamweaver web page, click on the "Demo Soundslides Slide Show" at the top of this screen.
